Often, clients come in to therapy having tried it before, not connecting or feeling like their provider didn't ”get” them. My first goal for therapy is to provide a space for you to be seen, heard, and validated. This allows for development of trust and a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
COLLABORATIVE METHOD
It all starts by exploring what you want out of therapy and life. Together, we will identify clear & measurable goals.
Next, we will reflect on what is blocking you & how to overcome obstacles with new & adapted strategies.
Then, you will begin to refine what you've learned. Think of this as your new beginning, where you'll apply the strategies to new situations.
